Rebecca R Moore

Rebecca is professor of political science at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota where she teaches courses in international politics, US foreign policy and international security. She holds a Ph.D. in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia and is the author of NATO’s New Mission: Projecting Stability in a Post-Cold War World (Praeger Security International, 2007) and co-editor with Gulnur Aybet of NATO in Search of a Vision (Georgetown University Press, 2010). Moore held a NATO-EAPC Fellowship from 2001-03 and has published on both NATO issues and the topic of democracy/human rights promotion in peer-reviewed and policy journals, including Contemporary Security Policy, the World Policy Journal, and The Washington Quarterly. Her publications include a chapter on NATO’s role in democracy promotion for an edited volume on humanitarian intervention, International Intervention in the Post-Cold War World: Moral Responsibility and Power Politics, Michael Davis, ed., (M.E. Sharpe, 2004).
