Paul Hockenos

Paul is an American, Berlin-based author and analyst who has written about Germany and South Eastern Europe since 1989. His most recent book is Joschka Fischer and the Making of the Berlin Republic: An Alternative History of Postwar Germany. He has worked for the OSCE mission in Bosnia and in the EU pillar in Kosovo. He is presently an editor at Internationale Politik, Germany’s leading foreign affairs journal.
