Think-tanks are supposed to have a ‘big idea’ – what’s NATO Watch’s?

in

big_idea.jpgNATO Watch is seeking to encourage NATO to become more open, transparent and accountable to the 890 million citizens that live within its member states. Until that happens NATO Watch is contributing to independent monitoring and analysis of policy-making and operational activities within NATO. See our Vision and Mission statements.

At NATO Watch we also believe that NATO could be at the heart of a new “moral, muscular multilateralism”, a cooperative approach to world problems that uses international organisations and law to the full. NATO Watch is developing ideas to support this goal. We aim to establish NATO Watch as a virtual centre of excellence for independent oversight, advice and expert analysis on a new reform agenda within the Alliance.
