In the continuing war of attrition in the Donbas, Russia appeared to be gaining the upper hand, with Ukraine now pinning its hopes on receiving increased international military support.
The 3 June marked the 100th day of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. There appears to be little progress on talks to end the war, as Russia continued its offensive in the Donbas and the fighting centred on the key city of Sievierodonetsk.
